Sideline Session 2025
Are you a young changemaker and looking for a chance to enhance yourself? Then this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for! Registration is now open for the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum Sideline Session 2025—an incredible platform for emerging leaders, advocates, and policymakers.
Organized by the Youth Parliament of Pakistan (YPP), this side event, titled “Youth in Governance: Driving Climate and Gender Action Through Digital Inclusion and Partnerships,” will take place during the upcoming UN Youth Forum. The aim is to unite young leaders and innovators from across the globe to exchange ideas and develop actionable solutions to key global issues.
This international session will spotlight the crucial role youth play in governance, climate action, gender equality, and digital innovation. It emphasizes the need for inclusive decision-making and highlights how technology and strategic collaborations can drive sustainable and equitable change.
Four partner organizations support the event:
• UN Major Group for Children and Youth (MGCY)
• Rural Development Foundation of Pakistan (RDF)
• Youth & Women for Peace and Dialogue (YWPD)
• Pakistan Mission to the United Nations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)
The UN ECOSOC Youth Forum 2025 Sideline Session will take place on April 16, 2025. This is your chance to engage in enhancing discussions, build global networks, and contribute to influential policy dialogues.

• No age or nationality restrictions
• Applicants must have an interest in any of the programs’ themes.
• Applicants will be required to get a US visa if they want to participate.
